Gwangalli at night

Gwangalli Beach is one of the coolest places not only in Busan but in all of South Korea. When the beach opened this year, it attracted more than 100,000 visitors on the first day alone. That’s a third more than the second place, Songdo Beach! Gwangalli Beach is 1.4 kilometers long and 25~110 meters wide, and famous for its fine sand.
Going during the day is cool and all, but personally I love going at night! There’s a reason for that: from the beach, you can see Gwangandaegyo Bridge with its colorful blinking lights, and as if that’s not spectacle enough, year-round starting from April you can see the Gwangalli Marvelous Drone Light Show, every Saturday, at 7pm and 9pm. It runs for about ten minutes, and every week there’s a different theme.
In the videos and pictures, you can see the drone show for the Gwangalli Eobang Festival, a celebration of the traditional fishing culture from the Joseon dynasty.
Cool, right? Now let us know in the comments: have you been to Gwangalli and seen the drone show? When you went, what was the theme?
