Introduction to the Department
We provide students with the opportunity to develop individual talent, appreciation and aesthetic sensibility. Personal and musical growth are nurtured within a creative atmosphere, with many of the activities in the Music Department promoting integration and a vibrant exchange among students, our Academic team and visiting musicians.
Our programmes provide educational environment like a Performing Arts Playground to our students to cultivate Korean Wave and encourage their motivation in developing their talent viz. 'ki' undiscovered yet.
The Study is a flexible one, catering for musicians, performers, actors, producers, dis- players and system planners alike. It provides a natural development for undergraduates allowing students to specialise further in an area of their choosing, but also permitting combination of interest if appropriate (for example combining musicology and performance).
Including Singing, Performing, Dancing, Sports, etc. Students who have gifted can select their own goals to be a Star, whereas some of them focus on the related business. For both case, practical subjects are to be treated in the following areas:
- Playing Contents Creating
- Performance Planning & Scenario
- Script Writing
- Scenography
- Contents Making(Movie/Scene)
- Acting & Vocal
- Graduation Performance
Emphasizing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in this Study, the programme is designed to expose students to the widest range of employment opportunities and advancement to related academic and research fields; it is intended for students coming from diverse backgrounds in one or more of the following: music, computing science, informatics, visual art, performance, theatre, media studies, and film.
